Sybill Trelawney

Sybill Trelawney was the Hogwarts professor of Divination - the study of telling the future. Most of what she taught her students was debatable in its accuracy, and whether it was tea leaves or crystal gazing Trelawney could reliably be counted on to predict the unfortunate demise of any student in the vicinity. However, Professor Trelawney was related to a well known Seer, Cassandra Trelawney and there was evidence that she too had some prophesising powers.
