A Chaser is a position in a Quidditch team, where the player's task is to score goals. There are three Chasers per Quidditch team. The Chasers must guide a large red Quidditch ball called the Quaffle into the goal hoops, scoring ten points at a time. Ginny Weasley was notably a Chaser for both the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and later, the Holyhead Harpies.
