A Quaffle is a bright-red, round ball about the size of a football. It is the ball used by the Chasers in a Quidditch match. To score a goal, they must try to get it through one of the opposing teams’ three hoops at the end of the pitch. Each goal scored with the Quaffle is worth ten points.
