A Bludger is a jet-black ball that moves on its own around the Quidditch pitch. Slightly smaller than a Quaffle, it tries to knock the players off their brooms. There are two Bludgers and it is up to the two Beaters on each team to knock them off their path, away from their team members and towards the opposition.
