The Ravenclaw common room

One of the airiest rooms at Hogwarts, the Ravenclaw common room was located at the top of Ravenclaw Tower, accessed by a spiral staircase. The entrance featured a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle that required a riddle to be correctly answered. Once inside, students were presented with a glorious blue and bronze room and a midnight coloured carpet covered in stars, beneath a domed ceiling. Ravenclaw students had their own library within the common room and a view out onto the Great Lake, Forbidden Forest and beyond to the surrounding mountains - which made it a perfect place for studying!
