The Minister for Magic holds the most important job in the wizarding community, acting as that country's political leader and the head of the Ministry of Magic. The Minister's job contains multiple responsibilities and immeasurable power, such as being able to introduce legislations and chair the Wizengamot: wizarding Britain's equivalent of the high court of law. The Minister for Magic also had a relationship with the Muggle Prime Minister: although in the case of Cornelius Fudge, it was often an awkward one.
