Dumbledore's office

Dumbledore's office was a large circular room full of rare and unusual magical artefacts. Portraits of previous headmasters and mistresses on the walls watched over Dumbledore's work and his companion, Fawkes the phoenix was close at hand. Entrance was by means of a circular moving stone staircase which was concealed by a gargoyle on the third floor and revealed upon delivery of a password. The office was also home to the school's enchanted Sorting Hat, Godric Gryffindor's sword and a memory storage device - the Pensieve.
